"Brooke is 17 and has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Instead of going off to college this fall as planned she will begin fighting this disease with all the determination and strength she usually faces everything with. Brooke oozes positives energy. She is an athlete and has always been able to perform in big game situations. In fact even since her diagnosis she is still winning races and scoring goals! Her friends, teammates and moms have decided to wear a B+ charm in a show of solidarity. There is no doubt in my mind that Brooke will win this fight!"

"My B+ necklace is one I loved and was proud to wear. It became even more special to me when I took it off & placed it around the neck of a dear friend during our last visit together. Pat was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2001. She was a woman who lived her life with grace and courage. She taught kindergarten and had such a lovely way of speaking to children....with words of wisdom, kindness, and patience. My children experienced this kindness, not as her students, but as her neighbors. As she lived with cancer she lost her hair several times and, of course, at other times she didn't feel well. Despite this, she remained positive & gently explained her illness to my children in a way that didn't frighten them. They saw her smile and they saw her "Be Positive" on a daily basis no matter what she was going through. On our visit with Pat on May 30th we had to say goodbye knowing we wouldn't see her again... she commented on my necklace & when we spoke about its meaning she repeated the words & smiled at the children saying, "Be Positive". I took it off & placed my necklace around her and asked her to keep it which made her cry softly & whisper, "thank you, thank you" while she clutched the pendant & charm in her hands. She did find power & strength during her cancer journey and, holding onto the B+ necklace, she indeed felt that positive energy up until her last days. On June 12, 2010 Pat passed away. My son said, "she taught me how to be happy no matter what is going on in your life because even though she was sick she always smiled". Thank you for your beautiful jewelry that touches and inspires people."

"At 40 years old, a mother of three young children, I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. In the middle of my chemo treatment, a close friend gave me my B+ necklace because of my constant positive attitude. Staying positive is truly the only way to get through life's challenges. Sometimes it can be hard to stay upbeat when you feel awful, but my B+ charm helps me stay strong and BE POSITIVE!"
